Enterprise Content Management is a really interesting topic. Where does it end? Documents? Emails? Unstructured Data? Its not easy to define or manage. Tools exist to help but the technology is the least of the problem. Business process alignment to ECM patterns is not consistent or easy. I hope over the next 20 years this is worked out. Its not a matter of technology or processing speed. Its a matter of business process.
